Queer and trans communities have long created networks of care in the face of exclusion. This workshop invites participants (from both the 2SLGBTQ+ community and all allies!) to learn from these practices—exploring how systemic stress affects mental health, why emotions like grief and anger are valid, and how chosen family supports well-being. We’ll also discuss tangible ways anyone can build more intentional, supportive communities in their own lives.

This is a complimentary workshop made possible thanks to funding from the Government of Canada.
