Who is this workshop for?
This free, virtual workshop is open to anyone who is looking to improve their well-being and build a more compassionate relationship with themselves. No prior experience or background is necessary.

What if the workshop is full?
Space is limited to 30 participants per session. If the workshop is full, you’ll have the option to join the waitlist. We will contact you if a spot becomes available or if we add another session.
Is this an in-person or virtual workshop?
This is a virtual workshop held on Microsoft Teams. A link to join the session will be emailed to you after you register.
Do I need to download Microsoft Teams to attend?
No. You can join the workshop using your web browser if you prefer not to download the Teams app. However, we recommend using a stable internet connection for the best experience.
What should I expect from the session?
This interactive, one-hour workshop will explore five practical ways to nurture your mental health and well-being through self-care and self-compassion. You’ll leave with simple strategies you can use in your everyday life.
Will I be expected to share personal experiences?
No one is required to share. While there are opportunities for reflection and optional participation, you are welcome to simply listen and take in the information.
Will the session be recorded?
No. To protect the privacy and comfort of all participants, the workshop will not be recorded.
Who leads the session?
The session is led by a trained mental health professional from CMHA Toronto, with expertise in wellness promotion and trauma-informed care.
