April 20, 2023

The Canadian Mental Health Association Toronto Branch (CMHA Toronto) is proud to announce its partnership with the West Toronto Ontario Health Team to deliver a series of free mental health workshops to the public.

The workshops will be focused on promoting mental wellness, providing support, and building resilience for individuals and communities during these challenging times. The partnership is part of CMHA Toronto's commitment to providing accessible and inclusive mental health resources to everyone in the community.

"We’re thrilled to partner with CMHA Toronto to deliver these much-needed workshops facilitated by team of community educators that collectively speak ten languages and have experience in health and social services,”
Kashtin Fitzsimons, Director of the West Toronto Ontario Health Team.

"We're thrilled to partner with the West Toronto Ontario Health Team to bring these workshops to the city’s west end," said Michael Anhorn, Chief Executive Officer of CMHA Toronto. "Improving the mental health of all has always been a priority for our organization, and we know that the pandemic has made it even more crucial to provide support and resources to those in need."

The workshops will cover a range of topics, including stress management, mindfulness, and self-care. They will be delivered by trained facilitators, who will provide practical tips and strategies to help participants manage their mental health and build resilience.
